About WhatIF Foods

Who are you? And what is WhatIF Foods?

We want to make you pause and think… about nutrition, health, the way food is produced, it’s impact on our planet and more. And that is exactly how the team started the journey towards WhatIF Foods – by asking “What if we changed the way the food system works?” You can expect zero compromises from us and our food products. We do not compromise on the quality of our ingredients, taste, nutritional value, your health, or impact on our planet…for starters! In fact, we spent years creating proprietary technologies to make these ideas happen.

What is going on inside the WhatIF kitchen?

The dream is to one day have a nutritious and tasty WhatIF products featuring future-fit crops in every kitchen.  We are working hard to introduce new products and flavours all the time. Drop the team a note if you have an idea that you really want to see on a shelf!

Our WhatIF Products

Are your products vegetarian/vegan friendly?
Yes, they are. Our products are tested on willing humans and do not contain any animal-derived ingredients. For our friends that do not consume alliums, please note some of our products do contain alliums and please check the product page for details.


Are there any allergens I need to be aware of?

Some of our products contain known allergens, such as gluten and nuts. We advise to review the allergen section of each product, online or in person, carefully before consumption.
If you have a specific allergy that is outside of the information provided, please contact us directly and we will do our best to guide you on which products are suitable.

How should I store my WhatIF products?

Please reseal your unused product tightly and store them in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight so they stay fresh and at their best for as long as possible.

How long can I keep my products for?

Firstly, complements on your will power :-)! Typically, a WhatIF product can be stored for around 6 months. But please check the best before date on the packaging.

Are WhatIF products Halal?

All our WhatIF products are made in a facility that is Halal Certified by JAKIM and free of meat and alcohol. We are constantly adding new products to our Halal certificate. The products that have already been Halal Certified will have the Halal message displayed on their respective product pages. If you want to check on the status of a product you are interested in, but cannot see the message yet, please let the team know and we can give you an update.

Is the packaging recyclable?

Our packaging has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable manner where we can while staying affordable to our customers. For packaging that has touched food, please clean it before recycling to ensure highest recyclability.

Nutritional Questions

What protein(s) are you using in your products?

Our high protein products contain 100% plant-based proteins sourced from a variety of crops including the Bambara groundnut, pea, lupins, rice, and wheat. Combining proteins from a variety of legumes and grains ensure that all essential amino acids are provided.

Can I use the WhatIF Soups and Shakes as meal replacements?

Yes. Each suggested portion of soups and shakes is 30 g at approximately 100 kcal each. For a meal replacement, we recommend a portion size of 100-150 g (or 9-15 scoops) instead, to provide between 300 to 500 kcal.

How many portions of WhatIF Soups and Shakes should I consume in one day?

This will depend on your health and nutrition goals, your age, gender, weight, and lifestyle. But, no matter what your goals are or how good our product tastes, we recommend 5 servings a day, maximum.

Are WhatIF Soups and Shakes suitable for children?

Yes. We recommend 1-2 servings per day.

My WhatIF Orders

I placed an order, will I get a confirmation email?

Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter. To ensure that this goes into your inbox and not your Junk/Spam folder, please add hello@whatif-foods.com to your contacts.

Can I cancel or make changes to my order?

As soon as you place your order, we’re on it – we know you want it fast! This means that once your order has been placed, it will be extremely difficult for us to cancel or edit it. Please contact us as soon as you can with your request and our team will try our best to accommodate.

Where is my order?

Within a few days of receiving a payment confirmation notice, we will send you a dispatch notice with a tracking number. Then enter your tracking number on this website: https://istoreisend.com/tracking-page/.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after payment?

Please check in on our delivery policy for the latest information. We will do our best to deliver your goods as quickly as possible.

Where do you deliver to?

We are currently delivering in Singapore and to Malaysia. However, WhatIF Foods working on delivering to as many countries as possible. Wherever you are in the world that we do not deliver to currently, just give our team a shout and we will do our best to find a way to you – even if means we have to use a messenger pigeon!

What about customs charges?

Unfortunately, we are unable to advise what customs charges may be applied to international shipments. Any customs charges are applied at the discretion of the carrier and local laws. All customs charges will be payable by the customer and will not be covered by WhatIF Foods. For more accurate information, we’d suggest getting in touch with your local customs office so you are not surprised by any unexpected charges.

What do I do if I receive the wrong item, incomplete or damaged?

We're sorry to hear that you've received an incorrect or faulty item. We will get this fixed for you as quickly as we can. Please drop us a message with the following info:

> Your order number
> Product name & code (this can be found on your order confirmation email)
> Picture of the faulty / incorrect item

What are the payment methods available?

We provide all options of Shop Pay and PayPal. We accept all major Credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). 

Is it safe to put my credit card number in this website?

You can be assured that shopping with WhatIF Foods is safe! We use Shopify’s Shop Pay and PayPal as our payment providers and they help with providing additional security when making payments online.
